Self Storage can be a moving experience in more ways than
one. We hear so many different stories and see many stressed people who have no
idea how to deal with their removal. Recently we had a mature woman Eva in her
70’s agitated and stressed out with no support from family or friends. At the
time of visiting our facility Eva was grateful to have people concerned
regarding the major disruption in her life. As a team at Storage King Mitchell
we sat with Eva and gave her a cup of tea as she explained that she was in need
to move urgently as the house that she rented had just been sold and she was
forced to move.
Listening to her needs the team members quickly took control
of her situation organising our recommended removalist to transport her goods,
arranged a suitable storage unit for her belongings and delivered packaging
material to her home. Although at times becoming a shoulder to cry on, one
gets satisfaction from seeing a client’s demeanour change from one of despair
to relief.
