Garages - what are they good for?

A lot of people use them for cars...

...but not everyone.

Do you have so much stuff in your garage already, you can’t even fit your car in?

Are you spring-cleaning and sorting things into those inevitable groups – things to keep, things to toss out, and things to give away or sell?

The garage is a great place to sort out all your clutter – even if it’s already in there.

And, wait for it... the garage is also a great place to hold a...

...garage sale

Let’s look at the garages that ‘not everyone’ has.

There’s the man-cave garage. The man-cave must have a female version too of course.

Maybe it’s a she-shed or a fem-den. Or maybe your man-cave or she-shed is much more family friendly and politically correct. It could be that it’s a family room or a play-room.

Has your garage has undergone a conversion into some spare accommodation.

A granny-flat perhaps? Or possibly your millennials have moved home!

Hobbyists have often set up the garage for their special interest.
No matter whether the hobby is fishing or model trains, or even a scalextric track, the real enthusiasts need space for their devotion.

If that devotion has to be kept at home, the garage is often the obvious place.

Your garage could also be your own self-storage facility.

We all have that much-loved clutter we can’t bear to part with.

Where have you stored all those family treasures from family photo albums (remember them?) to the under-7s soccer team, best-and-fairest trophy.

Then, of course, your garage could be the stuff of legends. It could be the beginning of something big.

It's just you don't know it yet.

The bottom line is this: Your garage is that extra room you don’t have in the house that was once the place you housed the car which is now being used for something else.

So if you don’t have a place to put your car, we do.
